Liz Briggs

Born and raised in Virginia, Liz's love for horses started early, thanks to her grandfather who insisted she learn to ride. She spent her childhood in the hunter ring, drawn to the grace and precision of the sport, and competed throughout Virginia during her middle and high school years. After a brief hiatus to attend James Madison University (Go Dukes!), Liz returned to the horse world with renewed energy.



Post-graduation, she worked at several professional farms, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the equine industry. She continues to teach lessons to riders of all ages and especially enjoys helping others develop their own passion for horses and horsemanship.


Liz eventually transitioned into the world of equine insurance, starting on the underwriting side. She quickly realized how many horse owners and professional horsemen were underinsured-or simply unsure of what coverage they actually needed. With a foot in both worlds, Liz prides herself on being able to "speak horses and insurance," helping everyone navigate their policies with confidence and peace of mind.
