Marcella's journey began in Birmingham, AL, where she was both born and raised. Her equestrian adventure commenced at the age of 8 when she started riding at a local hunter jumper barn. Through her middle and high school years, she gained valuable experience by working at various barns, embracing every opportunity to immerse herself in the industry's intricacies.
Upon graduating from high school, Marcella's path led her to Auburn University. Here, she pursued a major in Agricultural Economics while simultaneously engaging with her passion for riding. She not only competed on the university's equestrian team but also continued to ride her personal horse, which she had brought along to college. Her dedication extended beyond the saddle, as she assumed roles as a horse show groom and a barn manager for a private family farm during and after her time at Auburn.
The desire to blend her fondness for equines and the equestrian community with her professional aspirations led her down an unexpected path, one that her father encouraged her to pursue. As a third-generation insurance agent, she decided to channel her passion into her career. Marcella finds immense joy in educating her clients about the diverse array of options available to them, taking pleasure in aiding them to safeguard their valuable investments.
Today, Marcella calls Tennessee home and actively participates in competitions within the hunter and dressage arenas. Her journey from Birmingham to Tennessee has been one of evolving passion and unwavering commitment to both horses and the equestrian domain.
